Happy Christmas, Robin & Family!
This year has been full of ups and downs for long-time Earls Fam Community Member, Robin. Robin’s husband Tony was laid off three years ago, resulting in the selling of their family home and moving out of the area. Since that time, the family, with their two teenage boys, have barely managed to keep up with bills, living month-to-month. Robin is also plagued with health issues and, recently, memory loss.
As terrifying as these health concerns are, and as stressful as living month-to-month is, Tony and Robin have raised their sons to understand the real meaning of Christmas: the gift of Jesus Christ. While the boys know that being together and celebrating the miracle of Jesus is the real gift of Christmas, Robin does wish she could give them just a little something more this holiday season. That’s why she applied to the Earls Fam Foundation’s Christmas Project.
The Earls Fam Foundation selected Robin’s family and partnered with the Earls Fam Community members to send gift cards, clothing items, and games for the whole family to enjoy! While the family sees being together and worshiping Christ as the best gift of all, they were delighted and grateful to receive such a blessing from the community and enjoyed a Christmas not soon to be forgotten!
Thank you to all who made this Christmas miracle possible and who strive, like Robin and her family, to love God, love people, make a difference, and be thankful, every day!
