Happy Christmas, Rachel & Family!
Rachel is a hard-working single Mom to seven-year-old Zackary, who is non-verbal due to Autism. Zackary and Rachel are currently staying with and caring for Rachel’s Mom, Jennifer, who is facing serious health concerns. Jennifer had her pacemaker and defibrillator replaced the week before Christmas and continues to face serious health concerns.
Always busy, Rachel is also the caregiver for her grandfather, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Soon, Rachel’s younger brother will be moving in and will also require care from Rachel. Though these concerns are daunting and stressful, Rachel says it is a blessing to be around family and have her Mom with her for another Christmas season.
It is hard for Rachel to ask for help, she is usually in the role of helper! However, this Christmas, Rachel was not able to provide for Zackary and she desperately wanted to give him a true Christmas experience, with the gifts and supplies he needs to thrive. That is why Rachel, a fan of the Earls Fam since Leo’s pregnancy announcement, applied to the Earls Fam Foundation’s Christmas Project. The Earls Fam Foundation selected Rachel and her multi-generational family, partnering with the Earls Fam Community members to send each family member gifts for Christmas.
This Christmas, Rachel and her family received gifts, supplies, and clothing, making this Christmas one to remember! Zackary especially enjoys his new play school bus! The Foundation was also able to bless Rachel with a massage, allowing her an afternoon of rest and rejuvenation that this selfless mom desperately needed! Thank you to all who made this Christmas miracle possible! Join with us as we continue to uplift this family in prayers for healing and peace as they continue to exemplify the motto: love God, love people, make a difference, and be thankful - always!
